01These terms

Welcome to Tekmul. These terms govern your use of tekmul.com and any services you purchase from us — websites, apps, AI agents, SEO, Google Business Profile services, digital marketing, market intelligence, branding and business setup support.

By using this website or accepting a quote from us, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, ask us before you buy — we explain everything in plain English.

02Our services

• One-time projects: websites, apps, AI agents, branding, business registration support and other deliverables quoted as a fixed price.
• Monthly services: ads management, SEO, website maintenance, market intelligence plans and other ongoing help billed per month.
• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Quotes we send you in writing describe exactly what is included.

03Payment terms

• One-time projects start with 50% upfront. The remaining balance is paid in three monthly installments unless your quote says otherwise.
• Monthly services are billed in advance each month and can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date.
• Third-party costs are paid by you directly: advertising spend (Meta, Google), government filing fees, domain names, hosting and platform subscriptions. We never mark these up.
• Invoices are due on receipt. Work may pause on accounts more than 14 days overdue.

04What you own

Once a one-time project is fully paid, you own the deliverables we created for you — your website files, your logo and brand kit, your content, your accounts. Move them anywhere, anytime. That's our promise.

Until full payment, deliverables remain licensed to you but owned by Tekmul. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

05Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information and timely feedback so we can hit agreed timelines. Long delays in approvals can move launch dates.
• Keep the login credentials to your own accounts (Google, Meta, domain registrar) secure and in your control. We never hold your domain or accounts hostage.
• Use our services lawfully. We will not build anything used for fraud, spam, misleading claims or fake reviews.

06Timelines

We give estimated timelines in good faith — for example, a first AI agent live in 1–2 weeks. Estimates are not guarantees. Delays caused by third parties (platform approvals, government processing, client feedback) extend timelines fairly for both sides.

07No guaranteed results

We follow proven, honest practices, but no one can guarantee specific outcomes on platforms we don't control. Search rankings, ad performance, review counts and revenue depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, budgets, market conditions and search-engine or platform algorithm changes.

We never buy fake reviews, create fake accounts or make misleading claims — for you or for anyone.

08Third-party platforms

Our services interact with platforms like Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), WhatsApp, WordPress and various AI providers. Their own terms of service, fees and policies apply to your use of them, and they can change their rules at any time. Tekmul is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by these platforms.

09AI-assisted services

Some deliverables and assistants use AI technology. Everything we deliver is reviewed by a human before it reaches you, and our AI tools never invent prices, services or claims on your behalf. You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you ask us to publish.

10Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential and only use it to serve you. We won't share it with anyone except the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy or where the law requires.

11Cancellations and refunds

• Monthly services: cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. No partial-month refunds.
• One-time projects: the 50% deposit covers work already performed and is non-refundable once work starts. If we cancel a project for reasons on our side, you receive a full refund of what you paid.
• Booked intro calls are free and can be rescheduled or cancelled at any time.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Tekmul's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the three months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute, though we'll always try to resolve problems by talking first.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
